Clark Cole

President/Owner
Clark started this business because too many damn people were calling him or coming to his house asking for help on their 4WD. In all seriousness, Clark has been around and into mechanical things as long as he can remember. He built his first Jeep at the age of 15 and hasn't stopped since. His vast knowledge of all things 4x4 is only surpassed by his passion for the sport (translation: he knows his shit and loves tearin' it up offroad).
Clark is a Traverse City native and graduated from Traverse City Senior High (TC Central) in 1988. He continued his education at Ferris State University, where he earned a BS degree in Heavy Equipment Engineering and played 4 years of football.
After college, Clark worked for a number of years at Michigan Caterpillar in Kalkaska. This was followed by a 5 year stint as "Mr. Mom". It was during this time that he realized it would be easier to look after 2 "big" kids (Scott and Kris) than 4 "little" ones. In the Winter of 04' he hatched the idea of starting a shop and in September of that same year Northwest 4x4 opened it's doors for business.
Between his duties at NW 4x4 and helping to raise his 4 kids Clark is a busy man, but he manages to get out and wheel whenever possible. Keep your eyes peeled for his big "Wag" at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes or anywhere 4x4's get together in Northern Michigan. |
